With the support of SenseTime, around 20 Enriched IT Class teachers and students visited SenseTime located in the Hong Kong Science & Technology Park on 1 December 2018 under the arrangement of the Enriched IT Programme in Secondary Schools. The event included understanding the development of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies and the industry, learning the history of entrepreneurship of SenseTime and experiencing the applications and products of AI technologies developed by SenseTime.

During the visit, students not only experienced the real-life applications of AI technologies in areas such as human facial recognition, autonomous driving, 3D augmented reality and 3D face reconstruction, but also gained a deeper understanding of the details of human facial recognition technologies, and learnt about the relationship between AI, deep learning and research algorithms.
