"Enriched IT Programme" Partner School St. Paul's Convent School won Outstanding STEM Education School Award in Smart People category of the Hong Kong Smart City Awards 2018.
St. Paul's Convent School has applied its learning to produce a range of innovations such as reusable lactase hydrogel, mobile apps and water purifiers, all of which have sought to improve the quality of life of people in the real-world scenarios.
Hong Kong Smart City Awards 2018 consists of six categories under the blueprint of Smart City Hong Kong. They are: Smart Mobility, Smart Living, Smart Environment, Smart People, Smart Government and Smart Economy. For Smart People category, it aims to encourage people in Hong Kong to participate in public affairs through online platforms and other channels through transforming the way people access public and private sector services and promoting lifelong learning.
Hong Kong Smart City Summit cum Smart City Awards 2018 is organised by etnet. It aims to recognise, promote and support innovative solutions and strategies that can potentially improve citizen's lives and facilitate the development of future cities.
