“Enriched IT Programme” Partner School students won bronze medal in the “National Olympiad in Informatics (NOI) 2018” (with photos)

Enriched IT Class students S2 Man Tsung Yeung and S4 Ka Hei Wai of Pui Ching Middle School each won bronze in the “National Olympiad in Informatics (NOI) 2018”.



The contest consists of two days, each day contestants will be given three tasks with different topics to complete in 5 hours with computer programming. Topics covered include the shortest path, maximum traffic, string matching, etc. and the ranking is determined by the total score.



“National Olympiad in Informatics (NOI)” is an annual national programming competition for secondary students organised by China Computer Federation (CCF). It aims at promoting knowledge of Computer Science to students at the secondary level and providing opportunities for talented students to share technological experiences and learn from each other. This year’s competition was held in Changsha, Hunan from 16 to 22 July 2018, which attracted 472 students from 31 provinces and regions including Hong Kong and Macau to participate in.
